For a budget hotel, I couldn’t find much to complain about. It was quiet and clean, and the room had everything I needed: a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, and TV. Good value for the price, and I’d stay again.

Bed bug alert 🪲🦗 We stayed three nights. A couple ahead of us left for the same reason. We didn’t spot any at first, but by the end of the trip we had more than 10 bed bug bites. Happy bug hunting, you’ll need it.

The room was quiet even with the rodeo right across the street, and Yellowstone National Park is about an hour away, which is why we picked this hotel. That’s the only good thing I can say. There were two big trash bags left in the parking lot by the maids, and they were still there the next afternoon, so I finally threw them out myself. No one is available to help in the office except from 3 to 11 daily. There’s no breakfast or ice machine, and the internet is useless unless you find a particular spot outside. The rooms are tiny even for three people, and the employees were rude and not helpful.

I paid a reasonable $132 for the night and was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this place. The bedding suited the location, and I felt at home. The bed was super comfortable, and for the first time on this trip I woke without a headache or soreness. Everything was very clean, including the shower, which worked great. Staff were helpful when I checked in at 10 PM. The door lock was a little hard to latch. There’s no breakfast, but Cody has plenty of places to eat and take care of whatever you need. The town even has a rodeo.
