Walking in and seeing all the animals was fun. Our suite was great, with the best bed of our trip and enough room for all of us to sleep comfortably. Breakfast wasn’t much, just waffles, cereal, and some fruit. We went out to explore that evening, so we didn’t use the pool.

For a place called the “presidential suite,” the bathroom left a lot to be desired. There was no tub, and the shower was only 30 by 30 inches, so there was hardly any room to move. The bath toiletries were poor quality, and there’s no elevator to the second floor. Maintenance could be better too: one of the two AC units didn’t work properly, and the living room lamp was out. Those things should be checked from time to time. The breakfast was very limited, so we only ate it once: a waffle maker, coffee, toast or bagels, and two cereal choices. Not a good option if you want low-carb food. Still, the suite itself was comfortable, with a separate living area and king and queen beds in the bedroom. It seemed clean, the beds were comfortable, and the price was reasonable for the area. We’re unsure about staying again.

The pool was warm and clean, and the rooms were clean too. We enjoyed seeing the exotic taxidermy in the lobby, though it may not be for everyone. Breakfast was very basic. Great stay!

The indoor pool was fun, and they kept it open late, which worked well for us. Housekeeping was amazing, keeping the place clean and doing it with a smile. The weak breakfast selection was a letdown. Since “breakfast included” mattered when we booked a week, we ended up going elsewhere to eat. One night clerk at the front desk made me feel welcome and apologized about the overflowing trash cans. Otherwise, the front desk service was close to nonexistent, and staff seemed bothered by even small requests. The rooms were clean, and there are various diners nearby. It’s about a 45-minute drive to Yellowstone National Park.
