Moose Creek Lodge & Suites

We slept so well here, and the kids were happy with the pool. Our room was at the end of the building, so I can’t say if that’s why it was quiet, but we didn’t hear a thing. The grounds and room were clean, and the room itself was lovely, with high ceilings on the second floor. Staff were welcoming, and the front desk gave us great local restaurant suggestions. The location was so convenient, and the price was fantastic for what we got. Parking was the one hassle. The lot is tight, especially with so many huge vehicles, though we always found a space when we came back. It wasn’t a dealbreaker. If we’re in or near Cody again, we’ll definitely stay at Moose Lodge.

Larry, the owner and manager, and Edith at the front desk made us feel right at home. We were going to the rodeo, and Larry gave us useful advice on seating and parking. The lodge is older, but it’s kept up well, and the bed was really comfortable. There are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. A great stay in Cody.

The front office has a cute little shop, and the people working there were wonderful. The rooms were great, the price was reasonable, and it’s close to downtown activities. I’d definitely recommend it.

I liked the cozy, small-lodge feel at Moose Creek. The room seemed right for a quaint place in a prime location, with sturdy pine furniture that was very nice. I’d read a review saying the rooms were dated, but that wasn’t really my impression. It was quiet too, probably helped by being in the single-story section, so we didn’t have anyone walking overhead. The bed was comfortable, the AC worked well, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
