We finished the evening with dinner at the lodge, where Chef Romi made a wonderful spread of salads, cornbread, potatoes, BBQ chicken, and ribs. After the ride, there were plenty of mocktails and cocktails to choose from, too. We started out riding through Shoshone National Park. The scenery was gorgeous, and the paths felt comfortable and safe for riders at different levels. Communication with the ranch owner was great. I couldn't recommend the uXu ranch more, we had the best evening.

Our three daughters, from 6 to 16, all picked this as the best vacation they've ever had. We'd love to come back and do it again. That's a bucket-list trip checked off, and one we'd repeat in a heartbeat. Big thanks to John, the wranglers, and the chefs. What an amazing time, I wouldn't trade it for anything. Amazing.

By the time we left UXU Ranch, I was sorry to go. We'd arrived near the end of a 10-day road trip, and I was worn out and ready to head home. Somehow the ranch made us feel like family. The home-cooked meals and welcoming staff were lovely, and the mountain views were breathtaking. Horseback riding through the mountains is now my favourite activity. It was easily the best part of our trip. I highly recommend UXU Ranch.

Six years after my stay at UXU Ranch, I'm still talking to people about how amazing it was. We're finally coming back this August, and I can't wait. It's been far too long. Save us a saddle!

John and everyone at UXU Ranch made the trip. The activities were all planned and run so professionally, and the food was delicious from the salad right through dessert, a 10 all day long. We had a great group of guests, which made everything even more enjoyable. I got to go horseback riding, white water rafting, visit the Cody Rodeo, and spend a full day in Yellowstone Park. I had such a great time at the ranch in WY.
