Trail Shop Inn

There was no staff around when I checked out the next morning, and I couldn't find anyone to tell about the hygiene problem. The night before, I had no cell service in the room, so I couldn't call for help either. The listing promised WiFi, but there was no signal at all in my room. Worse, the room hadn't been cleaned after the last guest. The toilet still had feces in it. It was disgusting, and the whole night was a nightmare. This was by far the worst hotel experience I've had. Avoid this place.

The Inn was a different story. I wasn't satisfied with the room service, especially the sheets and the number of coffees provided. WiFi was completely unavailable. If you need a signal, make sure they don't assign you room #5 or #6. The restaurant deserves 5 stars. The atmosphere, seating, and food were all amazing, and Amanda's service stood out most. She went above and beyond in how well she looked after us. The food was perfectly prepared.

The setting is beautiful, and sitting on the porch to take in the scenery is a must. The two-bedroom cabin we had was pretty sparse on amenities. Cell service is poor around here, as it is in many parts of this region, and the property's WiFi is weak. Cody is close enough for dinner in town, but be sure to eat at the inn restaurant at least once. The food is high quality, with vegetarian and gluten-free options. Also, chat about baseball with the young man working at the restaurant, he'll appreciate it 😀

The view here is really beautiful, and as someone who loves photography, I found the photos professional. We stopped at this motel on the way to Yellowstone. The restaurant wasn't open on Monday, so we had dinner nearby at Wapiti Lodge. The room was small but clean, with a mini refrigerator, TV, microwave, coffee maker, and free WiFi. The bed, though, was old and uncomfortable. The window had a white, almost see-through curtain, so in July the early sunrise woke you up. I ended up covering it with a blanket. The synthetic sheets made my skin feel electrified and itchy where it touched them. I couldn't fall asleep until after 3 in the morning, when I covered myself with a terry towel. That's what happened to me, travelers can decide for themselves. Owners, please read the reviews and fix the motel's shortcomings. Thanks for understanding!
