The hosts, a husband and wife, were gracious and friendly, and the location was central to everything we needed. The room was spacious and mostly clean, with a good mattress and nice bedding. The towels were worn, and the shower curtain needed replacing. Breakfast had very few choices, so we skipped it. I’d stay again, but would confirm carefully whether I booked a king or two queens, since they changed our room type without asking.

Our three-night stay was awful, and we’re still scratching from the flea bites covering our legs. The room wasn’t cleaned and the bedding wasn’t changed while we were there. The towels were dingy, rough rags with holes, and we had to take used ones to the office to get replacements. When we misplaced our room key, we were told it would cost $250 and lectured about being irresponsible. We found and returned it. My husband also wasn’t allowed to bring my yogurt breakfast to our room. We booked because of the good reviews and lower price, but this is a one-star motel at best. I wanted to leave, but stayed one more night rather than lose the advance payment and pay at least another $300 elsewhere. Just awful.

We were so pleased with the welcome that we stopped here a second time on our way home. My wife and I were driving from Montana to Washington and got clean rooms, nice amenities, and a comfortable king bed. Kim was warm and friendly, and even served us breakfast as we headed out. Honestly, we hadn’t expected this level of service for the price. Highly recommend.

The room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. We got lucky and found a Saturday night room here for half what the other hotels in town were charging. Mimi was great, recommended Moon Time for food, and put out a nice breakfast with fresh fruit, bagels, and yogurt. I’d definitely recommend it.

It’s a small, two-story motel just off I 90, in a safe part of town. We were crossing the United States and needed a place to rest on a Sunday night, so we called Japan House Suites and got a room directly through the front desk. We weren’t sure what to expect, but the room was extremely clean, the staff were friendly, and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and will return when we’re back this way.
