SpringHill Suites by Marriott Coeur d'Alene

The two free Tesla chargers were a real bonus for us as EV owners and saved us a lot of time. Our room was a nice size with everything we needed, and the washroom was the cleanest I've ever used, bright and well designed. The reception area looked beautiful, the staff were welcoming, and breakfast was great. It would be nice to have a carpet-free room for people with allergies and liquid hand wash instead of bars. Still, we really enjoyed the stay and would recommend it.

I've stayed at SpringHill Suites Coeur d’Alene several times, and this visit meant a lot because of Tucker Qualls, a Guest Experience Ambassador. I was with my mom during a very emotional family situation, and his kindness, compassion, and care made a difficult time easier. The hotel is beautiful, with a welcoming lobby and dining area, a great location, spacious rooms with separate sitting areas, and an excellent breakfast. Highly recommend, and special thanks to Tucker for the outstanding service.

The lobby is really nice, the hotel is fairly well kept, and they have a good selection of snacks and food. The pool is large and very well maintained, which was a big plus. The front desk staff were also so nice, and service wasn't the problem. But for $600 for two nights, the quality wasn't worth it. We had a king room with a pullout sofa, and it was awful. My teenager couldn't sleep on it. The bedding was a tiny waffle-style blanket that was falling apart, too small to cover your body, and felt like sandpaper, plus they provided just one flat pillow. The built-in furniture in the older room was also falling apart, with damaged wood. We had only three towels for four people over two nights and three days, so I felt like I was constantly bothering the desk for more. I wish they'd provide better sleeping arrangements and linens, and enough towels for everyone.

I've been a Marriott customer for more than 20 years, and this is one of the nicest properties I've stayed at. The Springhill suites rooms have the usual layout and good amenities for families or solo travelers. The indoor heated pool has plenty of room and fountains, and the hot tub could fit 20 people. There's a decent gym, plus a great outdoor patio with more fountains, and breakfast is free. Getting on and off I-90 is easy, though the trees around the property mean you hardly notice the freeway. Some restaurants by the Spokane River are walkable, and town is just a few minutes away.
