Most of the staff were pleasant and helpful, and breakfast was a little above average and usually well stocked. The small fitness room was typical for a hotel, with everything working. Laundry was inexpensive and worked well, $1.75 to wash and $1 for the dryer, though there was just one washer and one dryer. We stayed nearly five weeks, and the place didn't meet the Holiday Inn standard. There were roaches. Staff seemed indignant when we raised it. I understand an exterminator came, and the ones we still saw were very small, so maybe it'll eventually get resolved. The pool was closed the whole time for repairs, and I understand it had already been shut about three months. Two of the three ice machines were broken and never fixed during our stay. We were disappointed, and roaches are hard to ignore over several weeks. The last thing you want is to bring them home in your luggage.

The showers had mold in all four corners, even though this is supposed to be a new hotel. But the worst part was the fire alarm going off at 4 a.m. on two nights in a row, waking my wife, me, and other guests. When I asked the general manager about it, she seemed uninterested and didn't apologize. She said another guest's hot shower had set off the alarm, as if we were just supposed to deal with it. She flatly refused a refund or compensation and acted as though I was bothering her. There was no eye contact or empathy. Only after the front desk manager spoke up for me was any compensation offered. Even then, the GM handed it over silently and showed no recognition of the disruption or professionalism. That kind of management is unacceptable in hospitality. I expect basic courtesy and concern from a hotel, and this was far below it. If you're considering staying here, I'd seriously think again.

Mrs.Amy and the whole staff were like family when I needed them. My kids loved the cookies, and Mrs. Amy made the place feel like home. I wasn't ready to leave, but my job there was over. She and the staff get a 10 out of 10, and I won't forget you, Sweetie! Thank you. May God Continue Blessing The Staff and Mrs.Amy! It was an amazing stay, and I'd definitely come back anytime. Anyone looking for a beautiful facility or a family away from home should choose this place. Rm. 208.

We were there during a remodel, but Amy and her staff still went out of their way to make us comfortable. They've been so down to earth and a pleasure to get to know, and they did more than expected for my husband and me. That means a lot when you're far from home. Awesome hotel, and I highly recommend it. Amy will take great care of you!
