Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Colby by IHG

We stayed at this Holiday Inn Express Suites from 12/26/2025 to 12/27/2025, and the breakfast staff at this Holiday Inn Colby Kansas were top notch. They kept the bananas, gravy sauce, bacon, cheese omelette, and really good biscuits coming. There was also oatmeal, cereal, make-your-own pancakes, plus a little fridge with yogurt, butter, chocolate milk, half and half, and two kinds of cream cheese. The front desk staff were friendly and attentive, and our room was clean with a comfortable bed. Walmart is just half a mile away and easy to walk to. This is one of the best Holiday Inn Express Suites we've stayed at. If you're passing through Colby Kansas, I'd recommend it. ♥️

We stayed Oct 10-12 2025. The building isn't brand new, but it was clean and well maintained, and our room and service were fine. At breakfast during the rush, some people couldn't find a seat and ended up taking their food back to their rooms. The kitchen person was doing okay, but both mornings she left cleaning towels and spray on a table. If she'd kept them in the kitchen at busy times, that table could've been used by guests. I don't see a need to replace the building unless the company wants something bigger.

We had a cozy room with comfortable beds and good water pressure. The hotel was in a good spot with plenty of parking, and the staff were really nice and professional. Breakfast was good too, including bacon.

On our Kansas road trip, the breakfast staff were especially warm with my kids and me, and they kept the food fresh and hot. Our room was clean, had the usual appliances, and nothing seemed broken. I liked that the appliances were tucked into a small cabinet, which cut down on their noise and ambient light. I'd recommend staying here.
