The pool was warm, the one good thing about this stay. The place has a playscape, but it seemed much more geared toward truckers than families. Housekeeping never cleaned our room or left fresh towels, so we had to ask for them. Our first room had a small roach. After we reported it, they moved us to a poolside room, and that was even worse. I killed a baby roach, saw a smaller adult, then spotted a full-grown one on the door jam as we were leaving. There was even a frozen roach in the refrigerator. Terrible stay. We won't be back. A very pissed off mom.

We were in town to craft at the Coldwater Applefest, and the hotel's location worked perfectly for my daughter and me. The building felt a bit dated, though breakfast was adequate. I check for bed bugs whenever we stay somewhere, so I was glad to see the mattress had a zippered cover. One mattress pad did have a blood stain. I took a picture and let the front desk know. The price was high, but similar to other hotels nearby.

We skipped breakfast because we were worried about what might be happening in the kitchen. Before that, while taking our luggage in, we noticed a bug by the door. It looked like a roach, though I wasn't sure. We should have changed our minds and left, but we stayed. The next morning, as my husband was about to shower, a roach ran up the shower wall. We mentioned it to the front desk clerk when we checked out. He wrote it down, and I hope they deal with the problem.

Breakfast was good, and the place is very large with an indoor pool. The room seemed poorly maintained, so the stay wasn't the best experience for me. The pool is surrounded by rooms, though, and I counted only 5 rooms watching us while we swam. Checking out was irritating, but I guess that completed the experience.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and we spent the whole weekend there with 10 people, 4 adults and 6 kids. The pool and playground were definitely 10-10, and there are nice arcade areas too. We hardly used those since our kids are young. Our room keys kept locking us out, so we ended up needing 8 separate keys for two rooms. At breakfast we waited for more food, then were told they wouldn't bring any out because it was close to the end time. There were 6 people ahead of us, our 10, and 6 more behind, so I'd suggest heading down early. I'll absolutely come back!
