We’ve stayed at Rollins Lakeside Resort three times, in different cabins and across changing seasons, and each visit has given our family memories we’ll keep for years. The dog can come too, and we’re close enough to home to check on the cats and hamster if needed. The resort sits on a tree-shaded hillside beside a quiet, beautiful lake in Northern California that’s great for boating. We feel lucky to be members and to see Sean an Scott’s vision for the place keep growing. For nature, connection, and genuine hospitality with family, it’s hard to imagine a better fit.

The cabins are full, but pack shampoo, soap, a can opener, and oven-safe dishes or pans since those aren’t provided. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, with kayaks available to rent and some hiking, though the hiking options are limited.

It’s a lovely, intimate spot for a wedding, tucked right beside the lake. Staff helped shuttle guests from the parking lot to the venue, which was handy.

The lake was lovely for swimming and boating, and the water was just the right temperature. Cloud 9 was a peaceful place to come back to, with a big room, lake views, and a private deck. I slept really well and found the stay relaxing and idyllic. I’d like to return to explore more of the lake, and it would be fun to come with a group.

A peaceful, pet-friendly cabin and a nice place to unwind. The owners are fixing up the area, so it should get even nicer. I’ll definitely come back.
