I’ve stayed at the Courtyard in Bryan College Station, TX. twice, each time for just one night, and was pretty satisfied. Everything went smoothly. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and towels and washcloths were well stocked. They have a microwave, mini-fridge, and Keurig coffee machine in the room. The rooms haven’t been updated in a long time, but they’re still nice enough. The pool and hot tub were both very clean. The property itself is clean and pretty, with outdoor seating, patios in some rooms, a gym, business center, cafe, and ice machines on every floor. There’s a pool too, of course. Breakfast costs extra, unfortunately.

Over the Christmas holiday weekend it was really quiet, and the room was super clean. We had a small balcony with chairs overlooking the pool and hot tub, plus a fridge and microwave in the room. The one drawback was the toilet, which was very low and had no rail to help with getting up or down. That probably won’t bother most people, but could be an issue for an older person.

The bed was really comfortable, and the room had lots of space and was clean. Staff were friendly and quick to respond. I had a perfect stay and will pick this hotel again when I’m back in college station. I’ll recommend it to family and friends too.

We booked three rooms and they all had a horrible, musty smell. Even the towels and washcloths smelled. We asked to move, but they couldn’t accommodate us. From the photos, this looks more like a low-budget hotel than a Courtyard. The smell in the rooms is hideous. We won’t stay here again.

The moldy, humid smell hit as soon as I entered the hotel, and it clung to my clothes and suitcase. I came home with severe nasal congestion and a sore throat. The breakfast was another letdown. I paid for it and got a small coffee and a hamburger bun sandwich. I was the first guest in the bistro that day, and all I saw was one slice of pound cake and two muffins. Another guest had described the bistro, and all I can say is that there was nothing there. I’m a longtime Marriott Bonvoy member, and I’ve never stayed somewhere so neglected and run down. At $150 a night, I expected Marriott quality, but the outdated, dirty room felt more like a cheap highway motel. The bathroom was especially bad: stains on the walls, peeling wallpaper, mold on the showerhead, rusty pipes, and discolored shower panels with visible screws. I wondered if it had been cleaned at all. I left disappointed and feeling ripped off. I want a refund. This wasn’t worth the money or the Marriott name. DONT say we didn’t warn you.
