The noise was unbearable, with loud pipes all night and kids yelling early in the morning. I got no sleep. I was also locked out along with seven other patriots after going to get food, but TY rekeyed our doors and apologized. At checkout, my key had stopped working again. I told Lizzy twice at the desk, but she kept asking if I was checking out instead of saying good morning or asking how things were. She eventually rekeyed my card, and I went back to pack. I had my car loaded and keys turned in at 10:27 am. I asked to speak with the GM and was told they'd be in later. I came back at 14:20 and was STILL WAITING ON THE GM so I could explain why I left seven days early instead of staying all 8 days, and ask about a refund for the seven days I wouldn't use. TY was amazing and the shining light here. The online pictures are misleading, as some rooms are TERRIBLE. The first room had no working heat, but TY quickly looked into it and helped get us moved. The door on the second room wouldn't open, so she checked and placed us in another one. The floor in the final room was dirty, and I wiped up what I could before deciding to keep my slides on. TY worked hard to help all the guests who checked in when we did and deserves a raise for her dedication to the patriots and the establishment. I looked into another hotel while awake, and Lizzy, the morning worker, was clueless.
They first gave one price, then charged more, and it felt like pure robbery. We left even though we'd paid for another night, but they refused to return the full payment, so we had to call corporate to get it. Some staff were rude and talked to me like I was dumb because they didn't have proper training. The manager started out with an attitude, then acted like I was the one who'd had an attitude. Horrible experience. I'd never spend money here again.
I'd give the service 0 if I could. The staff were nice except for Ty, who was HORRIBLE, rude, and unprofessional. Since she started working there, it seems customer service has gone downhill, and everybody complains about her. I left because the elevator had been out for months and they didn't know when it would work again. I know people who've stayed there for years and are about to leave because of the current conditions. I'm going to the news.
The managers make sure guests have what they need to feel more comfortable, and both customer service and housekeeping are top tier. This is a great place to stay for anything from a temporary visit to a longer-term stay.
I spent 5 weeks here for military training, and I wouldn't recommend it at all, especially for people serving in the Armed FORCES. The place was dirty, people were loud at night, and others smoked in the hallway. The cops even came. On my last day, checkout was at 11am, but they were trying to kick me out at 10am.
