I’ve been here two weeks and haven’t heard a single neighbor. The room has been very clean, with fresh pillows and clean bedding, no odor, a spotless, roomy shower, and a heater and AC that both worked perfectly. I’m six feet tall and 225 pounds, so I appreciated the shower size. The room’s fairly spacious, with a fridge and freezer and a microwave. I also like that the entrances stay securely locked, unlike many hotels, and there’s an elevator. The area seems pretty decent near Garden of the Gods Road, and I didn’t see any homeless people near the property during my stay. They have veteran parking too. I have a service dog and wasn’t hassled. Sometimes my dog barks if someone knocks loudly, so I asked the staff to knock softly. Every one of them did, whether they were changing the trash or cleaning the room, and my dog didn’t even notice. They also helped carry my heavy bags on a cart, took it up in the elevator, and pushed it right to my room. The staff have treated me very well. I booked through Expedia and got a great rate. I didn’t try the breakfast, so I can’t comment on it. This is the best Super 8 I’ve stayed in, hands down. I’ve seen negative reviews on Maps, but most seemed like senseless complaining. The room and building were very clean, and not having carpet was a plus. This seems fine for a night or two, but I wouldn’t choose it for a longer stay since the only place to hang clothes is the bathroom door. Breakfast is extremely limited, and the parking lot is small, so large vehicles could be a problem when it’s busy. Our room faced the main highway and had a lot of traffic noise. If noise bothers you, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

This is a clean, well-kept place and reliably comfortable. What stood out most was Pamela’s fairness and discretion. After a guest associated with me behaved inappropriately without my knowledge, I contacted her to apologize. She handled the conversation gracefully, accepted my apology, and reinstated my ability to stay here. I’m grateful. She also took clear steps to keep my personal and financial information secure, which I truly appreciate. Pamela and the rest of the staff understand hospitality and make this little Motel what it should be.

The rooms were clean, parking was plentiful, and the front desk staff were genuine and excellent. I left without collecting my $100 deposit, but the morning person at the hotel called to tell me. He checked my home address with me and said he’d mail the deposit there. Thank you. I’m sorry I didn’t get your name, but I appreciate the morning staff member who handled it.

The beds are great, but the place is dirty overall. The floors and elevator are filthy and beat up, and the walls need paint. Breakfast was just toast, and the cooler was empty.
