Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Colorado Springs East/Ballpark

Taylor, the night auditor, was friendly and efficient when I checked in for a two night business trip in December 2025. My queen room had the usual furnishings and a big desk, which I appreciated for getting work done. The western mountains looked beautiful from the room, and I caught a gorgeous sunset. The odd thing was having no outlet near the bed or nightstand for charging devices. The hotel had holiday decorations up, plus a gym and an indoor pool. There were plenty of bathroom towels, and body wash, shampoo, and conditioner were provided. I didn't try breakfast because of dietary restrictions, though they serve it daily from 6:30-9 am. It's not far from Colorado Springs Airport, and there are plenty of restaurants and stores nearby, including Costco. That made it easy to fuel up my rental car before returning to the airport.

AJ made a difficult trip much easier. I arrived close to 11 pm while my dad was in the hospital, and she greeted me with so much kindness and cheer. When I came back late from the hospital on my third night and saw her again, she asked how my father and I were doing. Ten star customer service. The room was quiet and comfortable, and I was glad to have a coffee maker and microwave. Breakfast was good every day. I like oatmeal, and theirs was delicious with lots of toppings. They also had cage free scrambled eggs, waffles, bacon, sometimes sausage, bagels, English muffins, coffee, and tea. The hotel was cozy, nicely decorated, and very clean. My two sisters chose to stay here while visiting our dad after hearing how much I liked it.

Had a quiet stay with no interruptions from other guests, and there were extra towels and pillows available. The rooms were clean, the staff were amazing, and breakfast was much better than the dull continental spreads I remember. Parking was adequate, with shopping and dining close by. I'll definitely come back!

The hotel itself was clean, but what stood out was the team. From the front desk to housekeeping, everyone was welcoming, polite, and helpful. I haven't felt this well looked after at a hotel chain in a while. Big thanks to the staff for such good service. I'll be back for them.
