There are plenty of places to eat nearby for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and I could walk to them easily. The hotel itself was clean and spacious, with a pleasant smell inside, and the staff were great. Breakfast had the usual choices, including eggs, sausage, chunk potatoes, biscuits and gravy, and cereal, with plenty to pick from. I’d stay here again if I’m in the area.

I paid $190 for the room, and coming down at exactly 9:10 a.m. after a very late night of work, I found the breakfast area shut behind a giant lock. The employee was gruff, pointed me to the breakfast hours on my white piece of paper, then went back to his phone. For an upscale hotel, closing off breakfast at 9 a.m. feels rude and cheap. People work late or even through the small hours and may not get out of bed until around 8. They couldn't spare even a 20 cent bagel?

We spent six weeks here for a work assignment and were very happy with the stay. The suite setup worked well, with a separate living area, a comfortable bed, and a good workspace. Having a full kitchen, including a large fridge, stovetop, microwave, and cookware, was essential for that length of stay. The property is brand new, modern, and pristine, with that new hotel smell. Breakfast was free and had a decent selection, including hot scrambled eggs and waffles. After stressful workdays, the indoor pool and hot tub were great for relaxing. Staff were very helpful and eager to please, even though they were still learning the ropes at this new property. Weekly housekeeping kept things clean without getting in the way. Free parking and laundry on site were convenient too. MainStay Suites is a great option for extended stays.

It worked well for what I needed, with a full kitchen, indoor pool, Jacuzzi, and free breakfast. More parking would help, and the laminate flooring needs replacing in several parts of the hotel, including around the elevator.
