I was here for six months on a travel nursing contract, and the staff were wonderful throughout. Since I worked nights, they’d try to catch me when they saw me instead of knocking on my door. They only knocked if it was an emergency, which I appreciated.

I travel for work a lot, and this was one of my worst stays. The WiFi didn’t work, the shower pressure was awful, and the room was in such bad shape when I checked in that I wish I’d taken pictures. The kitchenette also came with a catch: cookware cost extra. Even the front desk area smelled like weed, and out back there was what looked to me like a salvage yard for stripping car parts.

Whenever I’m in Columbia, MO, this is where I stay. The property is clean and feels safe, and the staff are great about helping with whatever you need. They make you feel welcome.

This place feels neglected, with trash all around and an old, dirty, unkept hotel. Extended Stay America needs to redo the whole property or close it. I’m completely disappointed. If zero stars were an option, that’s what I’d give. Never stay here!
