Candlewood Suites Columbus North - Polaris

We had a power outage when a transformer caught fire, but the staff stayed calm and helpful. Our family really enjoyed the spacious rooms and friendly service, especially Cierra at the front desk, who’s a sweetheart. We’ve already extended our stay and will definitely come back sometime.

There’s plenty of space for walking dogs out back, and restaurants and decent shopping are very close. The room was spacious, with a fairly comfortable bed and nice pillows. Its kitchenette had a two-burner range, full-size fridge, microwave, garbage disposal, and sink. The bathroom was large and had good water pressure, plus full-size shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and body lotion. There’s also a heated indoor pool and whirlpool.

I was going through a breakup, so I decided to spend NYE at Candlewood Suite, and I’m glad I did. The room was really clean, and I was pleasantly surprised by the kitchen. I was happy to heat up my Black eye peas. I also got to unwind at the indoor pool/jacuzzi, which was clean too. Ms. Rebecca at the front desk was the best. Her great service and recommendations helped me enjoy the evening.

I liked the room layout, but the bed was probably the most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept in. Our large group came in 15 cars, and three of them were broken into. Nothing is being done, even though the desk guy said it happens all the time. There’s a sign saying the hotel isn’t liable for vehicle damage. The bathtub had hair in it, and even with the AC set to 68, the room felt closer to 78. I probably won’t stay here again.
