The rooms and the hotel itself are pretty decent, but they need to honor reservations. I’m a diamond elite member and had booked a particular room. When I arrived, they didn’t have that room, which I understood, and told the desk I’d take any room. The man then said they were sold out. I was left wondering what to do, with four or five guests behind me waiting to check in. He found rooms for them, even though I had been there first. My diamond elite reservation was supposed to be guaranteed. They gave a room to people who arrived later instead of accommodating me. I’m now out the money and the 20,000 points I would have earned. I doubt I’ll ever stay there again.

We’ve been here since Tuesday while work is being done on my house. I needed an extended-stay place for me, my kids, and our two dogs. It’s been welcoming, and everything is nearby. If you’re deciding where to stay, this is definitely a better option.

Things started out well until we found a brown mother cockroach with her egg crawling across our food in the kitchen. There were roaches, mold in the bathroom, gross red spills under the sink, holes and other damage, and dishes that were dirty or missing. The Manager reached out and said they wouldn’t compensate us for the bad experience 9/31/25. We’ve warned you!

The lending locker, fitness center, and laundry facilities were great additions, and the hotel was quiet, safe, and well maintained. It’s near shops, restaurants, and Fort Benning, while still feeling peaceful. My room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a full kitchen that made a longer stay convenient. From the front desk to housekeeping, the staff were welcoming, professional, attentive, and kind. They made me feel at home and seemed to care about guests having a good stay. I had an excellent visit to Candlewood Suites in Columbus, Georgia, and would recommend it for business, family visits, or a stay near Fort Benning. It’s earned my five stars.

The staff were nice and the hotel itself was clean, but there was either a water bug or a roach in my room, along with another bug. I couldn’t even shower for two minutes before the water turned cold.
