Drury Plaza Hotel Columbus Downtown

Even with the hotel nearly full, our room stayed quiet at night. For three days, the free breakfast, snacks, dinner, and drinks had enough variety to keep everyone happy. Every employee I met was kind, and the hotel was exceptionally clean. I haven't had such a nice stay somewhere since before COVID.

Our family had a blast here, and the value was hard to beat. If you don't have kids, all the children around might feel like a lot. We came for two nights to go to Lego Land and swim, and we'd definitely return. The location worked well, right across from Jeff Ruby’s and within walking distance of lots of places. It was too cold to walk much this trip, but we made it to the main library downtown and walked to lunch once. The indoor/outdoor pool was fun, especially going out into the snow and swimming back inside under the half wall. A few leaves blew in during some strong wind, but it wasn't bad. The room, pool, and dining area all looked and smelled clean, which isn't something I take for granted at hotels. The staff were great even when it was busy. At the first night's kickback they made our kids a special “sour patch kid” drink, and when we ate, several people checked in on us. Everyone we spoke to, in suits or service uniforms, was friendly and kept the area clean. The food was great, too.

Natalia at the front desk and Sabrina at the Bar & Kitchen made us feel so welcome. Their customer service was excellent. Drury makes travel easy for me: smooth check-in, a clean room, a comfortable bed, and delicious food. I love Drury and will keep choosing it. I hope they open more locations soon!

We were in town for an event at the Convention Center and couldn't have been happier with our stay. The room was clean and just right for us. Everyone was warm, caring, and welcoming, especially at the front desk and in the kitchen and bar.
