Comfort Inn & Suites Rochelle - DeKalb

I got hurt on the property while opening the balcony door, but no incident report was filed. Management didn’t seem to care and said the door had been opened a lot. They also won’t return calls, and I had a bad experience with being overcharged and unauthorized accounts. The Red Roof in DeKalb has better prices and management.

As the motorcoach driver for a group of 54, I found check-in painfully slow. The desk staff wanted an ID and credit card for every room, even though I wasn’t the customer of record. The group that booked was. I’ve never been asked for that on my other trips, and it felt like an invasion of my privacy. This policy really needs to be reconsidered for large groups. The organizer was annoyed too, and I’m sure they’ll look at other places nearby next time.

After a long drive, the comfortable beds made it easy to relax. The room was very clean and well kept, and the huge hot tub was awesome. The customer service was exceptional, and the price was reasonable for a hotel with all these amenities. Breakfast looked great, though I didn’t try it. Thanks, Comfort Inn!

I spent about 10 days here on my first visit, and I’d happily come back. The breakfast was delicious and the service was great. Everyone was friendly and professional, especially Xavier at the front office, who was so kind and helpful. ❤️
