You get a basic room for a fair price, with no frills. I brought my own bedding because, well, yeah. I took a point off for the door, which stopped working several times. The key card registered as correct, but the hinge wouldn’t open until I shook the door to get the mechanism going. It was mildly alarming.

We were ready to leave as soon as the sun came up after a terrible night’s sleep. The beds in room 27 were harder than rocks, set on unbuilt platform beds over a metal box. The room was badly mismatched, and the TV wouldn’t work without a Wi-Fi password we weren’t given. The bathroom fan was so loud we were afraid to turn on the light in case guests above us complained. There was water damage on the ceilings in both the bathroom and the main room outside it. Parking was convenient, but that’s about the only thing the hotel’s site description got right. Never again.

The room had a foul smell, like it had been mopped with a spoiled mop. I was only there to sleep, so I didn’t bother asking them to mop again or give me supplies to do it myself. They did a great job with my forgotten glasses, though. When I went back for them, they were at the desk.

The location was good, close to G.V., and the price was fair. But the room was filthy: there was hair in the bathroom, the shower curtain had what looked like dye, blood, or rust on it, and after walking on the floor for a few minutes my new socks looked like the photo. It felt unsanitary. The front desk man was rude whenever I called, even when I just wanted to ask whether there was a fridge. If you don’t want to spend much and don’t mind the dirt, it might be OK.
