Hyatt Regency Columbus

We used points for a reward night while in town for a Blue Jackets game. The arena is so close, you really can’t beat the location. Our room was clean and very nice, with a king bed, a little sofa, tables, and a big TV. The lobby is spacious too. I’d definitely come back and hope to try the fitness area and hot tub next time.

The staff at the front desk and the second-floor bar were so friendly. My room looked newly remodeled, was very quiet, clean, and super comfortable, with a fantastic view of the Nationwide Arena district. Parking was easy, and getting to the convention center was convenient for my conference. Fantastic stay, I’ll be back.

The people handling logistics for meeting rooms and meal setups deserve some recognition. They were professional, worked hard, and solved problems on the fly. From what I saw, they do a lot for the hotel guests. Managers, give them the credit they’ve earned. I loved the experience, as I always do with Hyatt.

The rooms are nice and very large, and this is a busy, sizable hotel. As someone who sleeps lightly, I had a rough time in our room near the elevator shafts. There was another room between ours and the elevators, and I can’t imagine how anyone in between managed it. The noise sounded like a roller coaster overhead, probably because the elevators get so much use here. Ask for a room away from them and you should be fine.
