The staff were friendly, and the dated lobby didn't bother me. The room was another matter. We couldn't tell whether the sheets were dirty or stained, but decided they were stained, which still isn't acceptable. The bathroom door wouldn't stay shut, and the faucet handle came off. Even if a remodel is being considered, the rooms need much better attention. We stayed December 12. Never again.

Finding the hotel was difficult, even with Google Maps, and the service felt cold and condescending. Staff weren't helpful, especially compared with the night before in Guthrie Oklahoma. The rate was much higher than Gutlhrie, and when I asked why, I was told it depended on room availability. As a Rewards member, I don't think I should have to wonder whether rates will be consistent. They charged my card $200.00, too. I think I'll switch back to Best Western.

The staff worked well together to keep guests comfortable and safe, and they were above average. The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the facility itself felt safe and clean. Breakfast had several tasty choices. This is a great example of what a Holiday Inn should be.

The front desk women on both the night and morning shifts were genuinely sweet, and the service was amazing. Still, this was our second try at this location, and we won't come back for a third. The first stay had an issue too, though nothing like this one. We paid $447 for one night, which is ridiculous for a room this bad. It was damp and smelled of mold and mildew so strongly we couldn't breathe. The bedding felt wet from the humidity, the carpet was soaked and stinky, and the hall smelled like urine. After we asked to move, the second room was bearable, but still had a mildew smell mixed with sweaty hair and gym clothes. It just didn't feel clean at all. There was water spilled in the elevator that never got cleaned up, and the elevator sounded like it could break any minute and needed service. If you're charging this much, the hotel needs to be better quality. I should have gotten my money back and left.
