TownePlace Suites Columbus Airport Gahanna

Breakfast was better than I expected, with waffles, breakfast meats, scrambled and hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit, and more. It was nice not to head back out into the cold for food. The nearby Kroger, Sheetz, and plenty of fast food options make the location handy. We visited in January as a family of four. The service was genuinely above and beyond. We arrived late, and for once the Marriott app check-in matched reality: our room was ready. The desk took less than five minutes, and the room was clean and warm. The layout is familiar if you know TownePlace Suites, but this one has separate temperature controls for the living room and each bedroom. Everyone could set their own comfort level. The hallway door gap was the drawback, since you can hear nearly anything outside that’s louder than a whisper. I’d definitely stay again for the service, value, and convenient location.

Feels almost like having an apartment of your own. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the rooms are clean. It’s close to the airport, but the planes didn’t bother me. Krogers and shopping aren’t far away either. I recommend the location.

The complimentary shuttle and the airport, about an eight minute drive away, were handy. My room was a good size, with two bedrooms, a kitchen, dining area, and living room. Cleaning could’ve been a little better: when I dropped something and reached under the bed, I found quite a bit of trash. There was sticky stuff on the kitchen table too.

Sharon at the front desk was probably the sweetest, kindest, and most friendly hotel staff member I’ve ever met. Her smiles and warm greetings made the stay so pleasant. We had a great one night visit with my family, and having two bedrooms was a dream. Breakfast was great too. Very satisfied.
