Quality Inn & Suites Columbus West - Hilliard

The beds were very comfortable, and the room was quiet and dark, which made for great sleeping. The accessible room option doesn’t come with double beds, only a king. There were no washcloths in the bathroom, and the tub could have been cleaner.

An older-style hotel, but the service was good and my room was clean aside from a sticky patch of floor by the table. The TV was the biggest letdown: an older flat screen with digital cable and no channel guide. There are plenty of food options nearby. The Waffle House right outside has truck parking, though the hotel sign says overnight parking there is no longer allowed. I still saw trucks parked there.

The location, service, and breakfast were all good, and it wasn't an awful place. But our room looked like something had gone badly wrong in it and the repairs were unfinished. We also went all three days without anyone replacing the towels or taking out the trash. I was really disappointed.

The staff were very friendly, but I’d put this place around Motel 6 level at best. The room smelled almost like a wet dog when I walked in, and I kept my slippers on because I wasn’t sure the carpets were clean. There were a lot of things that needed fixing: the bathroom door looked punched in, half the toilet paper holder was broken off, the sink stopper was missing, and the middle drawer of the three-drawer dresser was gone. The freezer compartment was one big block of ice, leaving room for your hand on only one side. There wasn’t a chair at the desk either, so I had to go to Service in another room to get one. This motel needs a lot of work to meet proper Quality Inn standards, never mind the Suites part. I wouldn’t stay here again.
