There was commotion in the hallway all night, with doors slamming constantly. A huge leak left buckets of water all over the hallway. Outside, several vehicles sat in the parking lot with flat tires, and sketchy people milled around. The place was filthy, with cockroaches everywhere and stained sheets. I came during the weekend of Luke combs, crew game, nike cup, when nowhere else had rooms. It was a last option, and I should've just slept in my car. This was the worst hotel experience of my life, and I'm not a picky traveler. This place needs to be condemned.

We wanted to stay near Otterbein University, but this place is noisy and out of the way. It's old and really run down. The condition put me off eating there, using the gym, or going to the spa. I checked for bedbugs and didn't see any, but the next morning I found two live roaches running around the bathroom. If I'd seen them when we checked in, I would've left. Please stay somewhere else; there are much better options.

The location was good, but that's about it. I didn't read the reviews, though I usually do, and learned my lesson. They charged me four hours before I arrived. Since there was only a short window after check-in to get a refund, I checked the room right away. It seemed okay for the price until I opened the mini fridge. The inside was cracked, it smelled like death, and a cockroach crawled out. I was exhausted and asked to move instead of leaving right then. The next room was okay, but everything in this hotel seemed done just enough to claim it was finished. Paint was on the floors, the bathroom caulking was a sloppy job, and the mirror was so high that my 5'2" daughter had to stand on her toes to see herself. The doors were badly scratched, there were stains on walls and ceilings, dead bugs everywhere, and all kinds of smells from old furniture and curtains. A big gap under the door let in an overwhelming weed and cigarette smoke smell, so I had to block it with a towel. If I were desperate and nowhere else had a room, I might stay again. Then again, I'd probably drive the 5 1/2 hours home instead.

The last morning, after I got out of the shower, I was greeted by cockroaches. The hallways were dirty, dingy, and smelly, with stained carpet everywhere. The parking lot was disgusting, with glass all over, and it wasn't well lit. It felt shady, with constant traffic, doors slamming, radios playing, and people yelling all night. The location was okay, but the rest of the hotel wasn't. Staff were okay if you could find them. The rooms were supposedly “updated,” if you can call it that. They were dirty and outdated, with virtually no TV channels. I stayed for work the week of 9/30/25 and couldn't even get local channels. Do yourself a favor and don't stay here.
