For this price, the hotel was much better than I expected based on other stays in the same range. My bed was pretty firm, though I didn’t mind that and someone else might. I’m already looking forward to coming back.

This place was a pleasant surprise: very affordable, family owned, with clean rooms and really friendly staff.

The only drawback was parking, which seemed tight when the hotel was nearly full. Otherwise, the service and rooms were excellent, and it’s in a great spot.

The room was nice, and the drive to David City to pick up a vehicle was only about 30 minutes. But my mother and I paid for privacy, and while we were asleep before checkout, two different people swiped a card to enter. One came in between 7 and 8 without knocking. Another knocked at 9:30, then tried to enter right away. Why were staff going into our room before checkout?

I checked in late and still got excellent service. Everyone on staff was warm and welcoming during my stay. Breakfast was a nice change from the packaged rolls and cereal you find elsewhere. Thanks for the hospitality. I’ll stay again.
