I didn’t feel the price was justified, especially with no soap or other basics in the room. There also wasn’t anyone coming in to make the beds or take the trash. They did remove all the towels, though, and left none behind, so I had to go downstairs and ask for some. The breakfast amounted to two trays of packaged danishes and chocolate muffins, plus coffee, orange juice, and apple juice. That’s not what I’d call a hotel breakfast.

We booked four nights but left early after finding bed bugs, and the hotel refused a refund or any other help. After I showed staff the bites on my body, they told us to return to the room because it was fine and we’d be fine. We checked out right then. Someone said they’d follow up, but I still haven’t heard anything, and Expedia couldn’t reach them either. We also found blood on the blankets when we checked in. We asked for clean bedding or help and got nothing, so we spent three nights without blankets. I used my shirt as a pillowcase. When I raised the room’s unsanitary condition, I was told they don’t clean rooms before a new guest arrives, so the blood might not be mine and there might not be bugs. The room was filthy, with mold everywhere, and felt seriously unsafe. I don’t know which part was worse, that admission or their dismissal of the clear evidence of bed bugs. I plan to report the place to the health department and attorney general. We missed the last day of our music festival, losing $350 for one night here and $200 in tickets. Don’t stay here.

I left early the next morning after barely sleeping because the room felt unsafe and unsanitary. There was human waste on the walls, a toilet seat with burn marks, a loose faucet, and a cracked, deteriorating bathroom ceiling. I also found dust and dirt throughout, stained lampshades, burn holes in the sheets and comforter, and broken light bulbs with exposed stubs. The smoke detector had been ripped off the wall and left in the safe. I’d traveled six hours trusting the brand. The breakfast tables were dusty and dirty, and the first room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke despite my no-smoking agreement. The manager acknowledged it and moved me, but the second room still smelled of smoke, only a little less. With no time and nowhere else available, I stayed. When I later raised the hazards, the manager denied knowing about them and said, “good luck reporting us.” I have photos of all the conditions.

Avoid this hotel. The room was dirty, there was no ice, towels, or iron, and the refrigerator didn’t work. The sink faucet was broken, water pressure was low, and the hot water lasted only five minutes. The heater wouldn’t turn off manually. An employee also refused to put my driver license away out of sight.
