The location worked really well for us, and Andrew made us feel welcome right away. He’s a real standout. The property could use an update, though: the mattress was uncomfortable and the carpet was coming apart at the edges.

Aya was phenomenal when she welcomed me. I can’t believe I hadn’t discovered this place sooner. I’m from Bloomfield and didn’t explore Novi when I lived in Michigan, so I clearly missed out. My room was gorgeous and huge, with a bathtub, which I was so glad to see since so many hotels are getting rid of them. There’s free breakfast too, and everything was clean. I’ve stayed everywhere from a Ritz to a holiday Inn, but I felt more comfortable here than anywhere else because of the great accommodations and kindness. A+!

The rooms were well cared for and the hotel was clean, but management’s handling of a mistake ruined our stay. We were threatened with police involvement over an internal error, and our privacy was also compromised despite the Do Not Disturb sign being up. Basic courtesy would have made this situation manageable. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless staff training and supervision improve. We’d booked two nights through Expedia and had a confirmation. When we arrived around 10 PM, check-in took almost half an hour because the employee told us the room assigned to us was occupied. She called someone to move us to another room, which we eventually got. The following day we visited family and came back around 11 PM. Our keycards let us into both the building and our room without any trouble. At about 8 the next morning, while we were asleep with a white noise machine on for our baby, we missed a call on the hotel phone. Around ten minutes later, someone pounded on the door. My husband answered and found the manager demanding that we report to reception right away or he’d call the police. The booking was in my name, so I went downstairs while my husband stayed with the kids. The manager called our room again within minutes and continued threatening to get the police involved. I was alarmed and confused. At reception, he raised his voice and insisted they had no ID for us and that we shouldn’t be in the room. I showed him our IDs again, the Expedia confirmation, and our working keycard, which showed a two-night reservation. After checking, he found that an employee had mistakenly marked us as a “no-show.” My card had already been charged and we had been staying there legitimately. Even after realizing the mistake was theirs, he didn’t apologize. He only said he would deal with it with his staff. There was another unsettling issue. The website said rooms would be cleaned and towels replaced every two days. On the second day, before we left, I put the Do Not Disturb sign on the door. When we came back, it was inside the room, so someone had entered while we were out. After the rest of the experience, that left me feeling unsafe.

Our King suite had a King Bed, two sleeper sofas, a desk, a refrigerator, and a microwave. The bed was comfortable, with clean, fresh sheets and bedspread, plus four pillows ranging from firm to soft. The bathroom was spotless, the towels were soft, and the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were full. The staff were very welcoming, and the lobby had sofas, chairs, books, and games, so it was accommodating. There’s a pool and fitness center, though we didn’t use either. Restaurants, gas stations, and shops are close by, and the location is great. Very nice hotel.
