Rodeway Inn Daytona Beach

We were there for two nights, me and my daughter's family of four, and the staff were courteous and friendly. Our room was clean, and the bathroom was big. After we left, we realized we'd forgotten my granddaughter's tablet. They called us, and when I went to pick it up, the woman had wrapped it in bubble wrap along with my grandson's pacifier. Wonderful staff and a lovely stay.

The room was a little small, but I'd still recommend this hotel to anyone. It was very clean, the pool was great, and the staff were the friendliest I've encountered in a long time. They went way beyond what I expected.

The beds are especially comfortable, and for the price you can't beat this place. It's an old-school beachfront hotel with a bit of southern hospitality. The room is quaint and reminded me of the cool rooms from my childhood, the kind with "magic fingers." We had just arrived after a long drive with our dog and needed somewhere for the family to sleep before heading farther south in the morning. Sarah, the office clerk, was extremely pleasant and helpful at check-in. After reading the other comments, I think some people are confusing a hotel with a resort. This place is exactly what it says it is, with a great location, friendly service, and comfortable beds. Two thumbs up and five stars from me.

The pool was the part we loved most. It always felt warm whenever we got in, whatever time of day, and there's beach access too. We were a family of four with two little kids and would definitely stay again. We spent one night over the July 4 weekend. The price was good, the staff were helpful, and the room was cozy, with a stove, mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in the cabinet. The breakfast was great, and the Wi-Fi was good. We had a side view, but could see the beach from the bathroom and kitchen windows. Parking can be tricky with a large vehicle, though a good driver can manage it.
