The shower had strong pressure and a good showerhead, so I didn't have to keep moving around to get wet. The towels were surprisingly soft, better than at some bigger chain hotels. The room was clean and nicely furnished, and the fridge and microwave both worked properly. Check-in was quick, the staff were very friendly, and they met or exceeded what I expected from a value hotel.

We were a little uneasy after reading the reviews, but the stay turned out to be quite satisfying. It was quiet, the beds were comfortable, and the shower pressure was great. The staff were friendly, and being able to park right outside our room was convenient. We paid $73 on a Friday, including the pet fee. I'd stay again and recommend it.

Breakfast was stocked with biscuits and gravy, eggs, yogurt, cereal, muffins, and more. When someone was smoking marijuana, the front desk clerk quickly dealt with the smell and said it was “not tolerated.” The place was a reasonable price for four of us, and they're working on remodeling with fresh paint, new comforters, and other updates. I've stayed at some really bad America's Best Value Inns, so this one was great by comparison. A few things could use attention: there was just one small bar of soap for a two-bed room, and we could have used four towels instead of three and a second trash can. The soda machine was stocked in the wrong spots, and the ice room, which is torn to shreds, needs a light.

If you're hoping for somewhere fancy, keep looking. But for an inexpensive, clean, safe stop to sleep and shower during a long drive, this did the job. The staff were courteous, check-in was easy, and the beds were comfortable enough. A handy place to rest overnight on a cross-country drive.
