Cobblestone Hotel & Suites Connellsville

The room looked just as clean as the photos, but the fragrance from the cleaning products, or some other scent, was overwhelming. My whole group thought it seemed like it might be masking cigarette smoke or another smoked substance. The place is nonsmoking, but that was the impression. Maybe it was only our room, though the hotel was full on Valentine's Day. They were very nice about not charging us. We went to the Holiday Inn at Uniontown instead, and that place smelled clean and nonsmoking. If you're sensitive to smells, this place may not be for you.

When a blizzard left us with nowhere to go, having the little bar open until 11:00 at night was a very nice perk. I ended up staying longer than planned, partly because of the weather and partly for other reasons. The staff were fabulous, took great care of the property, and were always happy to answer questions. This may be the only hotel along the new bike trail that rents bikes and kayaks.

The breakfast was hot, tasty, and plentiful, and the front desk staff were pleasant, friendly, and accommodating. The facility is clean and updated, with gorgeous views. Highly recommend. I’m already looking forward to coming back, maybe in warmer weather so I can rent a bike or kayak.

We’ve stayed here several times and have always enjoyed it. River views, a great spot close to town, and a clean, modern, well maintained hotel make it a nice place to return to. The staff are sweet and quick to help, and the free breakfast is a great perk. The new center next door with the restaurant is a welcome addition. One thing I didn’t love was the strange AI generated postcard in the room. There are so many talented local artists and photographers who’d jump at the chance to have their work on one. I hope we can stay here again when we come to Connellsville.
