There were two holes in the walls, the TV had a blue line across the picture, and the shower head was covered with black mold. My towel was worn through in places too. It just wasn't a good place to stay, and I wouldn't come back.

The outlets didn't work, and the bedspreads had burn holes. My friend found a crack pipe behind the chair. She brought her Jack Russell into the room while we visited, but the dog wasn't there the whole time I was. Later, when I went to the office for creamer, the man at the desk accused me of having a dog in my room. He said housekeeping had complained about dog and cat hair in the carpet, and that he'd now need to use all kinds of chemicals to remove dog from the room. I noticed the carpet too, but what I saw was fungus, specifically mold, in colonies. I watched it blow in through the big gap under the door, collect, and pop up from the carpet when other spores came near. I can't say whether there was athlete's foot fungus too, but I'm sure about the mold. When I mentioned fungus, he blew his top. The "hairs" he was talking about were 3 to 6 inches long. No Jack Russell has hair that long. There was never a cat in my room, I'm bald because of my health issues, and my friend's hair is black. I think the accusation was a front to keep my deposit.

The sheets and towels were stained, there were no cups in the room or ice bag, and I couldn't get an extra towel. Checkout was at 11am, and they called to complain about it in a hateful way. We wanted to stay another night, but the hospitality just wasn't there. Looking for a cheaper motel can mean poor quality and service.

There were two small children, an infant, my spouse, and me, but he wanted us to pay for two rooms. He also required a 300 cash deposit. He was rude and wouldn't accommodate our small family, even though we'd had no problems at other hotels.
