My room had a lovely view of a lit Christmas tree in the back “yard”, with snow covering the ground and woods. The hotel was nice and conveniently located, and the room and beds were clean. After finding hairs between the sheets in my last 2-3 stays at other hotels in various places, checking here was the first thing I did. All was good. There was one downside: a dip in part of the floor made it creak terribly for about 3 feet. I live in an old house with creaky floors, so it didn't bother me, but I didn't want to disturb someone nearby and tried to step around it. I'd definitely stay again.

We were here for a wedding weekend, with lots of family and friends staying too. The staff were amazing and helped us throughout, and the rooms were clean with comfortable beds. Breakfast was just so-so, though there was plenty of it, and we appreciated having the meeting space. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

We had to leave just hours after checking in for my daughter's birthday stay. I found a live bedbug on the large brown throw blanket for the pull-out bed, which was in a black bedding bag stored above the coat rack. I brought it out on a tissue to show a staff member, who agreed it was a bedbug. I'm disgusted. **In response to the owner:** I don't need you to contact me about anything I did. I called several times asking for help, but at first no one was around and nobody answered the number listed for assistance. Thankfully my mother brought flip-flops for all four kids with me, since everything had been touching the floors. We had to double bag all the belongings and bedding, then wash them at home in hot water so we wouldn't bring bedbugs into our house. There have been multiple bedbug incidents at this hotel, all over Google, and I'll be honest with people and spread the word. This is an ongoing problem you're neglecting. The hotel needs to close and be properly exterminated. Yes, you refunded me, as you should have, because this clearly hadn't been dealt with in the first place.

My best friend had a wedding close to the hotel, and staying here worked out so well. I was short on time and asked the staff to decorate the room using decorations I provided. They graciously agreed and went beyond what I expected. Everyone was friendly, and it was very clean.

Our group of 10 rooms had a wonderful time here for a family reunion. The rooms, lobby, bathrooms, pool, gym, and cafe were all fresh and clean. Service was friendly, and the breakfast was tasty with plenty to eat. We enjoyed the outdoor patio too, and we'd all recommend staying here. Thanks for the hospitality! 😊 The Buck's
