Sweet Tea Bed & Breakfast

The house and rooms were very clean and comfortable, and we really felt at home, almost like family. Trish and Ralph were warm and welcoming when we arrived. They shared the house's history, asked what we'd like for breakfast, and gave us brochures and tips about the area, including good nearby restaurants and things to do. They even connected us with a local real estate agent to look at properties for sale. Breakfast was a treat. I enjoyed watching the birds at the feeders, and Ralph's pastries and traditional breakfast were beautifully made and tasted spectacular. His Eclairs are the best, seriously, I wanted more. You can tell they take pride in the business. My husband and I stayed at the Sweet Tea Bed and Breakfast at the beginning of June of 2023, and it was even better than I expected. We loved our time there and highly recommend it.

Patricia and Ralph were lovely hosts, sharing plenty of local history, and the breakfast is a reason to return. The Hickory room was roomy and comfortable, with a cozy king bed. Their 102 year old home has been beautifully refinished and has such an inviting feel, I didn't want to leave. Thank you for a lovely stay🥰

I was hesitant about staying at a B&B during a furniture shopping trip, but it turned into a memorable visit. The room was clean and well equipped, and I especially liked the claw-foot tub. The chef and host will make whatever you want. Since I have a sweet tooth, I especially recommend the homemade cinnamon roll, cherry turnover, and chocolate croissant. He also made a delicious fruit plate and fruit and yogurt parfait at my request, all scrumptious and beautifully presented. I'd definitely return when I'm in the area.
