Studio 51 Extended Stay Hotel

On February 20, 2026, I arrived with a prepaid Expedia reservation that the hotel couldn't fulfill, even though I'd called ahead to make sure the room was ready. The first room hadn't been taken care of: the beds weren't made, the lights and TV were on full blast, and the heater was running at full blast too. In the second room, the door wouldn't lock, leaving it completely unsecured. I was on a motorcycle and asked the front attendant about security because I was worried about my bike, but security never showed up that day. They issued a refund for the two prepaid nights, but as of March third 2026 I still hadn't received it. Expedia and I have tried several times to reach the location, and nobody answers the phone. I've been stuck paying $200 for two nights I couldn't use, and it's impossible to get hold of anyone because the hotel is privately owned. Stay far away. If something goes wrong, there'll be nobody there to help.

The reception workers were extremely nice, and the location was handy for where we needed to be. It was okay for one night, but there were no proper blankets, just sheets, so thankfully we had brought our own. The floors and bathroom also needed a better cleaning. It worked as a last minute option, though there's room for improvement.

Victor kiosk was extremely courteous and helpful. He clearly takes pride in his work and is strong on customer service. When the elevator was out of service, he quickly moved me from a high room to a lower one, making it less stressful to carry my things. Thank you so much, Victor!!!!!

Adrian at the front desk was especially polite. I was concerned after reading earlier reviews, and he explained the change in ownership and the recent renovations clearly. The kiosk agent was polite too, and Adrian put us in a suitable kitchenette room with clean towels and sheets, no bugs at all, and polite residents. All my needs and requests were met, so I highly recommend it. Thanks, Adrian! The main thing I'd improve is the AC/heat unit filter. Changing it would make a huge difference to the room smell, comfort, and health. A regular paint job would help the value of the stay too. I had to work the shower a bit, run the sink, and flush the toilet a few times to get hot water, but that was no big deal.
