George Washington Wood Bed & Breakfast

MJ and Anastasia went out of their way to make our visit special for my girlfriend's birthday. She's now my fiancée. I've never had a host so eager to make a stay perfect. The Philly breakfast sandwich was amazing, and so was the egg white omelet. We also walked around the neighborhood, which is such a nice place to visit. I highly recommend the Willough, and we'll be back!!!!

Breakfast was the highlight for our family. The chef cooked delicious meals fresh and accommodated both our family and friends who joined us. Everything was restaurant-level, served in a warm, intimate B&B setting, and our daughters even asked for seconds. We stayed at the Willough over the holiday break with our two young girls, ages 4 and 2. The third-floor suite was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with upgraded amenities that felt both luxurious and homey. It was quiet and private, which we appreciated with little ones. The staff were attentive and welcoming, especially with the kids, and made us feel like valued guests. For families with toddlers or preschoolers visiting the area, it offers a great mix of elegant rooms, genuine hospitality, and excellent food. Highly recommend for family or multigenerational trips to Conshochoken. We can't wait to book again!

The bed was so comfortable that it made me rethink my mattress at home, and the room felt relaxing in every detail. Breakfast was fresh and well prepared each morning, and we looked forward to it. MJ, the new owner, was warm and charming, and even called ahead to check on us. Chef Bob and Anastasia made an amazing breakfast, tailored to what we like. The lobby is beautiful and filled with local Conshohocken history, and the location is walkable to local dining. We moved to The Willough for our last two nights in town after staying at a standard hotel, and the difference was night and day. We were among the first guests since this gem reopened. The renovation balances Victorian character with modern amenities, including brand new furniture and excellent individual climate control for each room. If you want a comfortable place with character, book it before everyone hears about it!
