Tropicals of Palm Beach Condominium

The pool was great, and everything we wanted to visit was close by. The beach was just a three-minute walk, with a Publix right across the street. The people were super nice. We had a wonderful stay, absolutely amazing!

The pool was nice, the location was good, and the staff member I met at check-in was very polite. Still, the building needs repairs, and the room was only okay. The wiring could use an update: the lights kept flickering, maybe because of the Wi-Fi issue. The TV was over ten years old. I stayed for my birthday, but the TV and internet never worked. The network they gave me didn't even appear, and when I called the number I'd been given, they offered a different network that didn't work either. I planned to work remotely for a day, which turned out to be impossible.

After a winter storm up north forced us to cancel, I contacted Tropicals of Palm Beach about the problem. They said they'd refund me because I'd only made the reservation the night before. I booked through Booking.com on Feb 20, 2026. A week later I asked Tropical for an update and heard nothing. Another week passed, and now they're saying too much time has gone by to keep their promise. They're blaming Booking.com and won't issue the refund.

Parking is the issue. I parked in front of the hotel with a Tropicals placard in my window saying I was a guest and could legally park on the street, but poor communication led to a $60 ticket from the City. A manager, Avia, and her assistant, Mia, said they'd reimburse me. It's been six weeks, their office phone no longer goes through, and they don't answer emails. I believe they've blocked me. They reneged on the offer.
