We had a very nice large suite, and the family slept easily even though the hotel is near a busy train. There was good food nearby, and breakfast was decent. The ladies working the very busy days did a great job. I didn't have any major complaints, though we did need extra pillows and blankets in the room. Some guests were rude to staff. At the indoor pool, around 20 kids were very loud, some behaved poorly, and there didn't seem to be adult supervision or a camera. Noise rules might help. The room was closed in, too.

The staff were kind and understanding, and the front desk moved us without hesitation when I reported bugs. The hot breakfast was genuinely hot, more than just waffles and fruit. But the bug problem ruined the stay for me. I found two live bugs and several dead ones under the mattress in our first room. I don't know what kind they were, but they weren't bedbugs. After we moved, there was another live bug under the second room's mattress. The couch bed had no sheet and had some kind of brown stain on it. We also had earplugs in the room, presumably because it's very kid-friendly, because of the train, and because the room made a random loud clicking noise. When we got back from our event, the room we'd left had been rented out. Make of that what you will. We were also charged $13 for parking, which felt like a hidden fee since nobody had told us about it.

The room was filthy, and the condition of the furniture and appliances was awful. The dishes had food crusted on them, the table was sticky, and there was hair stuck to tape on the desk. The couch looked as if someone had had a food fight or vomited on it and it hadn't been cleaned. Every piece of furniture was battered, the glass stovetop was badly cracked and seemed dangerous to use, and the microwave light didn't work. The main room had no desk chair. There was hair, medicine, boogers, old candy, and even a hairbrush under the mattress topper. My husband and I checked for bugs and didn't find any, but the mattress was filthy and had deeply questionable stains. Most toiletries were missing, there was barely any paper towel left, and the AC cover looked like it could fall to the floor. The broken curtain wand and small blackout shades let light into the bedroom even at 3 AM, when it was totally dark outside. The carpets in the halls, rooms, and lobby were covered with crumbs and trash. There were no trash cans in the hallways, and just two main bins by the entrance, with no outside cans at the other doors. Only one part of the parking lot was lit, and there were no outdoor cameras watching the cars overnight. Breakfast was lacking, and the coffee was completely gone at 8:30 AM despite only one family being in the dining room. The room had only two dark roast coffee packs and no actual coffee maker, just a hot water warmer with an on-off switch. It overflowed a tiny mug onto the counter and floor because there was no way to choose a serving size. Only extra-bold coffee was available in the room or dining area. I called downstairs for toiletries and paper towels and was told I could come get them or find housekeeping in the hall. The guest Wi-Fi wouldn't load the page for entering my room number and name, only showing links that didn't work. And the train tracks are right next door, so expect early wake-ups from the horns. The area is supposed to be bougie, and Conshohocken is nice until you turn toward this hotel, which felt sketchy. It's also disgustingly overpriced for what it is. With the dirty rooms, bad service, missing basics, noisy trains, no hallway bins, weak breakfast, worn-out appliances, and poor location, I'd take my money elsewhere.

The location was terrible for getting in and out of Conshohocken. If you time it wrong, leaving in the morning and returning later can take at least an hour. The room also didn't feel clean. After I was moved, I found food stuck to the silverware, holes in the curtains, and a rusted patch where the tub paint had come off. The reason I wouldn't recommend this place, though, is that I found black mold in my first room on the first night. It looked like someone knew about it and had covered it up, since I noticed what seemed like drywall dust near the floor underneath.

The rooms were decent, but the rest of the facilities were dirty and poorly run. The service was horrible. They charged me the full amount when I checked in, then charged me the full amount again at checkout on Sunday. I was told the manager wouldn't be in until Monday, and I still haven't heard from them. I tried calling, waited on hold for 30 minutes, then got hung up on. This place is running a scam operation.
