Carousel Beach Inn

For a two-star hotel, the service is a perfect 10. The beds are really comfortable, with lots of pillows. My TV was glitching, but they moved me to a nicer room without any hassle. Even the maintenance guy was friendly and professional. The continental breakfast was excellent, with good bagels and make-your-own waffles, like at a Best Western or Holiday Inn.

We were right across from the Boardwalk, and our balcony in room 208 looked out over the parking lot and Giant Dipper. Seeing it lit up at night was really pretty. The room was clean and a good size, and I thought the value was good for the location, room, and amenities. The staff were helpful and friendly. There was a small seating area with patio furniture and vending machines on our floor. The elevator is behind a locked gate, and the parking lot is secure, which felt reassuring. Breakfast and wifi were free.

The service was incredible, and we’ll be back. We booked directly with the hotel at the last minute and got a two-hour arcade card for the Boardwalk. Unfortunately, we lost it and couldn’t get a replacement, but that was my fault. The rides are literally across the street. Miriam at the front desk was a sweetheart. My kids kept saying how nice she was, and there’s a free claw machine for them if you ask the desk for a token. The staff were great all around. They also had free popcorn in the lobby in the evening. Our room was bright, clean, and odor-free, with comfortable beds. The shower nozzle came off so we could rinse off sand, and there’s a separate sand shower by the main office. The patio was clean and comfortable, and parking and wifi were free. There’s an ice machine too. Breakfast was amazing, with lots of choices and waffle toppings beyond syrup. Staff kept refilling things and wiping surfaces. They even had almond milk, which was nice since I don’t drink dairy milk.

Friendly staff, free popcorn, and breakfast too. The room had one of those scamming smart TVs and a comfortable bed. This place is the BEST!!! Would recommend it, 100%.
