Best Western Conway

We stay here pretty often when we're traveling. It's consistently clean and quiet, and the service is great. There are restaurants practically beside the parking lot, with plenty of shops you can walk to.

Nothing fancy, just what I'd expect from a BW. The room was clean, the bed was good, and check-in service was pleasant.

We left without staying, and I wouldn't have stayed even if the room had been comped. The room smelled awful and musty, like it hadn't been occupied for months, and it felt dirty. A pillow had what looked like a urine stain. That, along with the smell, was enough for us to leave the keys and walk out. We went somewhere else. The room was at the back of the property, where we felt unsafe. The place seemed sketchy, and the lack of cars in the lot should have been our first warning. It's very dated, with outside room entrances and no elevators. At least the location right off the highway is convenient, between a Waffle house and a Golden Corral. They did let us check in early, but I should have inspected the room before paying. We stay at Best Western hotels every week, and this one was a huge disappointment.

The room was spacious, but housekeeping only does a halfway job. If you're staying for a while, don't expect the bed to be changed for a week.
