Econo Lodge Conway Central

Samantha at the front desk was so kind and patient through a pretty involved room booking. An out-of-state relative was paying, and she took the time to walk us through every step of the third-party rental. It took a while, but her persistence and care got it done without a hitch, and she kept smiling the whole time. She also explained the hotel rules clearly and told us where and when to get coffee, how much the laundry room costs, and where to find it and the ice machine. She made sure we had the WiFi and laundry room codes too. She really went above and beyond to find us the best rate.

No, no, no. The room looked nothing like the photos. It was dirty, the blanket was thin with no comforter, and there were cockroaches. The door had to be slammed to close properly, and that was the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept in.

My fiancée and I got sick after staying here. Within ten minutes of walking into the room we could smell poop coming from the sink. Later, once the cleaning chemicals wore off, the air felt thick and dry, like we were walking into a barn. If you're used to normal things like regular meals and bathing, I don't think your body can handle this place. Maybe you can manage a 48-hour lockdown in a 12-by-12 room, but if you're trying to be careful with money while still keeping yourself well, you could end up sick from mold, roaches, the flu, or something else. It felt like they were just cleaning over the dirt. Please don't put yourself through this if you aren't homeless.

I've stopped here three times in the past two years. The rooms were clean each time, and the front desk staff were polite and helpful. The price was the best around, and the location is convenient, with everything at your fingertips.
