The room was very clean, and the front desk people were great. When the AC controls weren’t giving us heat for hours, they responded quickly after I messaged them and sent someone to fix it. She seemed a bit rude, though I guessed she might have been trying not to intrude while doing maintenance, so I didn’t hold the possible annoyance over the request against her. An hour later we still had no heat. It turned out I’d been using controls that weren’t on the wall, so I left it there and didn’t call back. The staff were very nice overall. Parking is awkward because the lot is nowhere near the front door. I’d drop off your bags before parking. Also, give yourself time to find breakfast elsewhere. The staff are working with what they have, and I appreciate their effort, but the food choices were really low budget. Breakfast was a no for me.

The staff were a plus throughout. Before I even reached the desk, someone greeted me, and Charlie (or a name like that) was warm and helpful. Another young woman at the desk was there in the mornings, chatted with us about our workouts, and helped us get what we needed for the gym. Staff also warned us that Verizon customers only could park in Verizon’s lot next to the hotel entrance, or cars could be towed. The hotel is within walking distance of several restaurants and the local mall, according to Charlie, though I didn’t get to visit it. Cleanliness matters a lot to me when choosing a hotel. The cool AC when I walked in was noticeable after being outside, and most of the area looked clean. My room smelled fine, and the fridge and microwave were clean, unlike in some recent hotels. I did find stray hairs in the drawers and shower. I like starting with a clean space, so I sanitize surfaces with 90% alcohol, cleaner, and gloves I bring or buy, and I checked the bed for bedbugs. It was clear. The room was good otherwise. I used the small gym for four days without any problems, though it got progressively less cool each day. I planned to use the pool, but it had been closed when I arrived because a kid vomited in it. It reopened, but I no longer felt like swimming. I tried the breakfast once and was surprised by the larger selection. Coffee and tea are available 24 hours, there’s always fresh fruit at the desk, and they give you water, sometimes a snack, at check-in. Free cold or room-temperature water is available throughout the stay too. My stay was good, and I’d return.

Parking is a real pain and the place could use some help, but the stay was clean, modern, and comfortable. The suites were spacious, the staff friendly, and the amenities made the visit easy and relaxing. Convenient location and good value. I’d happily stay again.

The layout is a little odd, especially the parking, but the staff were super friendly and the experience was great. Kevin was awesome, and when we had a noise issue one night, Samaria handled it. Highly recommend this hotel.
