Budget Inn

The room kept getting hot overnight because the AC wasn't central and cycled on and off. It got so uncomfortable I wanted to sleep in my vehicle. There are nearby train tracks, and trains ran through all night with their horns blaring, so I couldn't get a good night's rest. The first time I turned on the shower, dirty brown water came out before it eventually ran clear. The guy also came into my room and searched around after I'd already said I had no trash. I had no privacy. I paid about $72 a night for around four nights. I wouldn't recommend this place.

The Wi-Fi was unreliable, cutting out about half the time. There were no vending machines or washer and dryer, even though both were listed when I booked. The guy came to my room at 9 to ask about checkout, which was at 11. He was also very interested in my belongings every day, treated me like a liar when I answered questions, and gave me no personal space. They asked me to be out of the room while they cleaned, for whatever reason. He alone ruined the experience. You could go next door for a similar price without all this.

The inside deadbolt trapped us in the room, and even the owner couldn't get the door open. I had to jump out the window and sprang the ball of my foot. They returned my deposit once they realized I wasn't renewing. They check the rooms every day and seem to assume you're lying until you prove otherwise. They also prefer you to leave during the checks. If you bring your own towels, they'll take their towels back for your whole stay. The reviews aren't lying. Don't stay here.
