The location was great for a staycation, and the staff were professional, friendly, and helpful. Our room had cleanliness problems, an old showerhead, and no hot water. Staff dealt with it right away and moved us, but the replacement room had issues of its own. I wouldn’t come back, though to be fair, maybe we just hit a bad weekend.

We spent about three months here while our house was under renovation, and they really looked after us while it felt like home. The staff were friendly, responsive, and committed to good service. We could get clean towels and linens whenever we needed them, and the renovated rooms have the latest decor. Everything was super clean, and the restaurant food was good. It’s in a noisier spot by the highway, but I still slept well. Now that we’re home, I miss the place. Thanks, Marriot staff, for making us comfortable and at home for such a long stay.

During a snowstorm, I arrived with a room booked through a third-party vendor. The front desk person had a terrible attitude and said their system was down, so there was nothing she could do. She sent me back into the winter storm without shelter and made no effort to help. When I called to ask whether the system was working again, she was rude and eventually stopped answering. I had to book another room for the night, and they still won’t approve my refund. I’ve had plenty of bad service, but this felt especially inhumane. I’m sure a stray dog would have been treated better. I’ve been a Bonvoy member for years, and this makes me want to stop staying at Marriotts altogether. I also called for a manager, but nobody answered or called back. There are many nice places nearby, probably even cheaper. Don’t waste your time unless you want to be treated like a dog.

I wanted a relaxing staycation and had been looking at Country Inn suites, but got lost and ended up at this hotel. Since I was already in the parking lot, I decided to stay. The front desk woman was helpful and accommodating. She said two nights would cost $170, but didn’t say that was per night, so I ended up paying $330 total. Breakfast isn’t free either, you have to pay to eat there. Rooms on the second, third, and fourth floors don’t have microwaves, and the outlets by both nightstands and the thermostat in my room didn’t work. For the price, I could’ve stayed downtown with a nice view and a microwave, instead of going down to the lobby whenever I needed to heat something. The room itself was clean and quiet, but the rest wasn’t worth the money.
