The lobby looked clean and smelled clean, but the rooms were another story. In the first one, the bathtub was peeling badly and needed updating, and the bed was uncomfortable. I told the front desk and got a second room that looked better, but the sheets had a lot of stains and there was hair under the comforter. We packed up and went next door to the Candlewood Suites, where the rooms were much nicer and more spacious, and there wasn't anyone's hair on the beds. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

We were moving to the area and needed somewhere to stay while waiting for our apartment to be ready. The room had a regular kitchen and was nice. The front desk staff were outstanding, so friendly and helpful. I'd stay here again without hesitation.

The lobby was clean and pretty nice, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was quite uncomfortable, and we could hear every step from the third floor. It sounded unstable. The room had signs of repair work that hadn't been done well. The location worked for us, but the included breakfast wasn't very good. There is a Waffle House next door.

We were displaced by the winter storm and, after being disappointed with the place we stayed the first night, decided to try La Quinta. The employees were so kind and helped with anything we needed, checking throughout the stay to make sure we were okay. They even went out of their way to ask whether we had power when we went home, since we'd talked about it during check-in. We really appreciated all that kindness.

The staff were fantastic and went above and beyond when we mentioned the noisy AC and uncomfortable bed in our first room, 116. Even during Christmas week, they found us another room the next day, and it was perfect. The location is great, within walking distance of the movies and Waffle House. For the price, it's an excellent hotel, and we were happy with the stay.
