The staff are super friendly, and I’ve seen them cleaning the rooms plenty of times, so cleanliness isn’t a concern for me. My room was fine for just me. It’s cheap for a reason: if you want amenities, go somewhere else. Rooms 16-25 are basically a bathroom with a shower and a place to sleep, nothing more. I’ve stayed here multiple times and plan to keep coming during the spring when they open for the season while I’m going to school.

The room had what I needed: a microwave, fridge, blow dryer, iron, cable TV, and more. It was very clean, and the staff were kind and helpful. The water was rusty, which was my only complaint. The room smelled of bleach, something I don’t like, though I hoped it meant the room was really clean. The continental breakfast was acceptable, not a lot to choose from but good enough. I do recommend this place.

The agreement seemed clear when we checked out early: we would pay for the two nights we stayed, plus tax. The booking company approved cancelling the rest of our week, just as the woman at the desk said it would need to. But the motel charged us for a third night and has refused to return that money. We came to the area for an event about 45 minutes away, and after two days of driving back and forth several times a day, we asked to leave early. We were only there two nights. This is a very poor way to do business. They know we're across the country and have little recourse, and it feels like they've taken money we didn't owe. Be careful.

The location made getting around easy. Downtown Cooperstown is just a few miles straight down the road, with several restaurants nearby. About a mile away, you can park free and catch a trolley to popular spots around town for $2 per person per day, which can save a lot compared with feeding parking meters all day. I was pleasantly surprised by the room. Our two double beds fit comfortably, and it was clean, with working AC, a firm but comfortable bed, and a nice bathroom with a new sink, lots of counter space, and plenty of towels. The furniture looked newer and had a simple style. There was also a decent mini fridge, though its freezer barely froze anything, and a microwave. The desk clerk was very sweet when we arrived. Breakfast was fine, but mostly carbs and sugar. Some fruit or yogurt would have been nice. I'd recommend it if you're in the area.

We spent four days here in August for my grandson's baseball tournament and had a good stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the room was clean with comfortable beds. The coffee wasn't very good, but that's our only complaint. We'd come back if we're in the area again.
