I come to Coos Bay for work often, and the corporate direct billing makes staying here easy. The rooms are spacious, clean, and nice, with large TVs. There's an indoor pool if you want it, and the service is always friendly and helpful. The location is convenient too. I'll keep staying here when I'm in town.

We made an unplanned trip to Coos Bay to see the lights at Shore Acres and had our two dogs with us after Christmas at my parents' place. We planned to stay overnight and head home in the morning. I booked through the hotel site, which didn't say they were remodeling or had only three pet-friendly rooms. Later, I got a message to call the hotel. The front desk said they were fully booked and couldn't take us with the dogs. When I asked for a full refund, she told me to request it through the booking site. I did, but was still charged for a stay I never got.

The renovation has turned out really nicely. Amber at the front desk is a gem, capable and a pleasure to deal with. She easily helped me sort out a fraudulent reservation. I've interacted with her four times over two days and have been impressed every time. Whoever owns this place should hold on to her, she's a real asset.

We stayed in a pet-friendly room with our one dog, and everything was great apart from the rule against leaving dogs in the room. There weren't any pet supplies either, like bowls or a rug. Coffee and drinking water are available in the lobby. Safeway and Fred Meyer are close by.
