The host was friendly and attentive to what we needed. The place was quiet and spacious, and excellent value for the money.

The hosts make an effort to keep your stay comfortable, and ours was very comfortable. It’s a good place to stay before visiting Wrangell preserve or on the way back.

The beautiful view was a plus, and overall the place was nice and basically met our needs. The private Deluxe Queen Suite was pleasant, though its kitchenette could use a thorough cleaning. The coffee maker seemed like it hadn’t been cleaned in quite a while, and there was food stuck inside the microwave. For breakfast, there were two packets of instant oatmeal and a granola bar, which wasn’t what I’d expect from a bed and breakfast. We had to carry luggage down a few steps since the rooms are in the basement. In the triple room with rec room there’s no privacy: it includes the owner’s Office Space, a small Workshop, and an open Stairway to the upstairs of the house, where apparently someone lives.

Luann was a charming host, and I’d stay again. The cabin is gorgeous, tucked into the wilderness around Wrangell St Elias National Park. The B&B was very clean, though there was no breakfast and it felt a little dated. It has lots of potential to become the cutest B&B ever.

LuAnn was super helpful and had lots of activity recommendations. The deck has stunning views, and the quiet location makes a nice base for visiting Wrangle St Elias and Kennicott Mill. The shuttle to McArthy picks you up right at the house.
